CUSTOM DESIGN & PRICING
Custom hand-painted jacket artwork starts at $125. The $125 payment collected at checkout serves as your non-refundable retainer and is applied toward the total cost of your custom artwork.
Final pricing is determined by the size, placement, level of detail, and complexity of your requested design. Designs requiring additional placement, extensive detail, or more complex artwork will be quoted above the $125 starting price.
Your design may include a combination of:
- Custom names, words, phrases, dates, or lettering
- School, team, or organization themes
- Greek letters and organization-inspired designs
- Logos, symbols, characters, florals, and other imagery
- Front and back artwork
- Sleeve designs
- Pocket, collar, and other accent details
Artwork requested in multiple areas of the jacket or designs requiring extensive detail may increase the final price.
If your requested design exceeds the $125 retainer, the additional cost will be communicated after your design request has been reviewed. Any remaining balance will be due before painting begins.

Artwork may be requested for several areas of your jacket, including:
- Main Back Panel
- Upper Back
- Front Left Chest
- Front Right Chest
- Front Pocket(s)
- Left Sleeve
- Right Sleeve
- Collar
- Other Requested Placement
When submitting your custom order, you will have an opportunity to select your desired placement(s) and describe what you would like painted in each selected area.
If you have a general vision but are unsure of the exact placement, you are welcome to provide your overall design idea and allow me to determine an appropriate composition based on your jacket and requested artwork.
Please keep in mind that adding artwork to multiple areas of the jacket may affect the final price.
PROVIDING YOUR JACKET
Customers are responsible for providing the jacket to be customized.
Please provide a new or freshly cleaned jacket in the correct size, color, material, and style. Because you are supplying the garment, please carefully inspect and try on your jacket before sending it for customization and confirm that you are satisfied with its:
- Size and fit
- Color
- Material
- Style
- Overall condition
Once painting begins, the garment cannot be exchanged, resized, returned, or replaced through this custom service due to sizing, fit, color, or style preferences.
Customers are responsible for inspecting their jacket before shipment. I am not responsible for pre-existing stains, fading, distressing, tears, loose stitching, manufacturing defects, sizing or fit issues, or other conditions that existed prior to the jacket being received for customization.
If your jacket is received with a condition, fabric, coating, construction, or other characteristic that may affect its suitability for the requested artwork, you will be contacted before painting begins to discuss available options.
SHIPPING YOUR JACKET
A complimentary UPS Standard/Ground shipping label will be provided to the email address associated with your order for shipment of your jacket to me for customization.
Please wait until you have received your order confirmation and shipping instructions before mailing your jacket.
The complimentary shipping label applies to the shipment of your unpainted jacket to me only. Any applicable return shipping charges for your completed jacket will be communicated separately.
Please package your jacket securely before shipment. Once your package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, carrier tracking information should be used to monitor its delivery. Shipping delays, loss, or damage occurring while a package is in the possession of the shipping carrier may be subject to the carrier's applicable policies and claims process.
You may also upload photos of the front and back of your actual jacket when submitting your design request. Jacket photos are especially helpful during the design process, as seams, pockets, panels, distressing, zippers, buttons, and other garment features may affect the placement or composition of your artwork.
SUBMITTING YOUR DESIGN
Please provide as much information as possible when describing your desired artwork.
When submitting your design request, you will have the opportunity to provide your overall vision, select preferred design locations, provide written instructions, specify colors and wording, and upload reference images.
Reference images may include:
- Inspiration photos
- School, team, or organization logos
- Color references
- Characters or symbols
- Lettering inspiration
- Photos of your jacket
- Other images necessary to communicate your desired design
When submitting names, dates, numbers, phrases, or other personalized wording, please enter the information exactly as you would like it to appear on your jacket.
If additional information or clarification is needed, you will be contacted before your digital proof is completed.
Please note: Reference images are used for inspiration and design guidance. Artwork created by another artist will not be duplicated exactly. Your final design will be created as an original interpretation in my own artistic style.
REQUESTED COMPLETION & EVENT DATES
If your jacket is needed for a wedding, graduation, game, birthday, trip, celebration, or another specific event, please provide your requested completion date and event date, when applicable, when submitting your custom order.
A requested completion date allows me to understand your desired timeline but does not guarantee completion or delivery by that date unless the timeline has been reviewed and confirmed.
Please account for:
- The digital design and proofing period
- Time required for requested revisions
- Shipment of your jacket
- The 4–6 week painting and completion period
- Return shipping/transit time
If your requested date cannot reasonably be accommodated, you will be contacted after your order details have been reviewed.
Submitting a requested completion or event date does not shorten the standard turnaround time unless alternate arrangements have been specifically confirmed.
RETAINER, DIGITAL PROOF & REVISIONS
The $125 non-refundable retainer collected at checkout officially secures your custom order and begins the design process. Your retainer is applied toward the total cost of your custom artwork.
Your retainer includes:
- Creation of your initial digital design proof
- Up to two design revision rounds
- Preparation of your final digital proof
After your order details, design information, and retainer payment have been received, your initial digital proof will be provided within 7 business days.
Your digital proof allows you to review the overall design before any artwork is painted, including:
- Design composition and layout
- Artwork placement
- Wording and spelling
- Colors
- Images and design elements
Your order includes up to two opportunities to request revisions to your digital design.
A revision round consists of the changes submitted together in response to a proof. When requesting a revision, please review the entire proof carefully and provide all requested changes together whenever possible.
After the two included revision rounds have been used, each additional revision will add $10 to your remaining order balance.
FINAL PROOF & DESIGN APPROVAL
Once you are satisfied with your design, a final digital proof will be provided for your review and approval.
Please carefully review all:
- Names and wording
- Spelling
- Dates and numbers
- Colors
- Images
- Design placement
- Overall composition
Once the final proof has been issued, your remaining order balance will be provided. This balance may include additional artwork costs based on your final design, additional placement areas, complexity, and any applicable additional revision charges.
Payment of your remaining balance serves as your final approval of the digital proof and authorization for your approved design to be hand-painted onto your jacket.
By submitting your final payment, you acknowledge that you have carefully reviewed the final proof and approve the design as presented.
Once the final design has been approved and final payment has been submitted, the design is considered final and additional changes cannot be made.
PAINTING WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL ALL THREE REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET:
- Your jacket has been received
- Your final digital proof has been approved
- Your order has been paid in full
TURNAROUND TIME
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for completion after ALL THREE requirements above have been met.
Your 4–6 week turnaround period does not begin when the $125 retainer is paid.
The turnaround period begins only after:
- Your jacket has been received,
- Your final digital proof has been approved, and
- Your order has been paid in full.
The 4–6 week turnaround time does not include the initial digital design/proofing period, time spent awaiting customer responses or revision requests, or shipping/transit time.
Because each jacket is individually designed and hand-painted, completion times may vary slightly depending on the complexity of your artwork and current order volume.
If you are ordering for a specific event, please plan accordingly and allow adequate time for the design, approval, painting, and shipping process.
CARING FOR YOUR CUSTOM JACKET
Your custom jacket is a piece of hand-painted wearable artwork and should be treated with care to help preserve the design.
For best results:
- Spot clean whenever possible.
- Hand wash gently when necessary.
- Avoid scrubbing directly over painted areas.
- Hang or lay flat to dry.
- Avoid machine drying.
- Never iron directly over painted artwork.
- If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and avoid applying direct heat to painted areas.
- Store your jacket hanging whenever possible.
Normal wear may occur over time, particularly in areas of the garment that experience frequent movement, friction, folding, or washing.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Each custom jacket is individually designed and hand-painted. Slight variations in brushwork, texture, color, placement, and other characteristics of handmade artwork are natural and contribute to the uniqueness of your finished piece.
Digital proofs are intended to provide a visual representation of the final design. Because your finished jacket is painted by hand, minor variations between the digital proof and completed artwork may naturally occur.
Please carefully review all information submitted with your order as well as your final digital proof before submitting final payment.
By submitting your final payment, you confirm that you:
- Have reviewed and approved the final design
- Have verified all names, wording, spelling, dates, numbers, colors, imagery, and requested placement
- Understand that minor variations naturally occur with hand-painted artwork
- Authorize the approved design to be permanently painted onto your jacket
- Understand that additional design changes cannot be made once final approval and payment have been submitted
